Monticello Golf Club is a Private, 9 hole golf course located in Monticello, Illinois.

Monticello Golf Club first opened for play in 1922.

A major change in the course took place in 1972 when grass greens replaced the old sand greens.  Generally speaking, the new greens were in the same location as the old ones.

The hilly course is highlighted by the gullies and mature trees that can alter your shots.  Half of this course is very wooded, and the whole course is extremely scenic. The greens are small and there is a two-tiered green on hole #7, a 292-yard, par 4. There is one pond on the course.
